David George Barthold, 80, died May 26, 2026.

He and his twin sister, Diane, grew up the youngest in a family of five children in St. Anthony Park. He graduated from Murray High School, then attended the University of Minnesota, Mankato.

David went on to a career in sales, which led to roles and time spent working and living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and later Phoenix and San Diego. He eventually returned to Minnesota to be closer to his family and to take on an executive position in a family business. In that role, he made significant contributions and enjoyed success in helping to grow the business and empower its staff.
