Ann Marie (Nygard) Olson, 91, Roseville, died March 17.
Born Aug. 23, 1934, in St. Paul, Ann was raised in Hudson, Wis., by her mother, Blanche (Hansen) Nygard, after the early death of her father, Sidney Nygard. Later, she and her husband raised their two children in Falcon Heights.
Ann was a devoted member and leader at North Como Presbyterian Church and throughout the Presbyterian Church (USA), serving as an elder, commissioner and leader in Presbyterian Women. She received an Honorary Life Membership in Presbyterian Women.
After moving downtown, Ann became an active member at Westminster Presbyterian in Minneapolis.
She was active in justice work and, with her husband, received the Murray Award from Presbyterian Voices for Justice in 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Manley; son Mark; daughter Judy (Charles); and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
