Falcon Heights is partnering with Lauderdale for its Sustainability Fair on Saturday, April 18. Residents of both cities are invited to take care of household recycling and explore other environmental measures for home use.
The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Falcon Heights City Hall, 2077 W. Larpenteur Ave.
Recycling opportunities will include electronics, textiles and paper shredding. There will be booths from local groups and activities for children.
The Home Energy Squad will offer a free electrification workshop at noon, explaining ways that residents can transition to cleaner, more sustainable power.
Falcon Heights and Lauderdale residents can also receive free countertop food scrap bins while supplies last.
