Gerald W. “Jerry” Barte, 71, of Roseville, died Sept. 24, 2025. Jerry was an avid golfer and lover of all music, especially opera, classical, folk and early rock. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He loved singing, fishing, baseball and card games, and was a good friend to all.

He was preceded in death by wife, Vicki Johnson; parents Bill and Joan Barte; and nephew, Daniel Sedgeman. He is survived by sisters, Diane Weinhold, Joyce Sedgeman (Tom), and Karen Norman (Chip); and brother, Paul Barte.

A memorial service was held at Como Park Lutheran Church. Memorials preferred to Como Park Lutheran Church or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
