Temporary closing extended:

Due to a delay in repairs and maintenance, the re-opening of the St. Anthony Park Library building at 2245 Como Ave. has been moved to early August. Previously, officials had hoped to see it re-open by mid-July.

Check the library’s website for exact date and other upcoming events at rclreads.org. In the meantime, a variety of events are scheduled at nearby libraries at sppl.org.

Holiday closing:

All St. Paul Public Libraries close early at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, and are closed on Friday, July 4, in recognition of Independence Day.

Summer reading programs

Summer Sparks

The St. Paul Public Library’s summer reading program for children and teens continues through August. Participants keep track of their reading and complete activities at their own pace. Register at any SPPL or at sppl.org/summer.

Summer Reading at Ramsey County Library

The Ramsey County Library’s summer reading program for children (On the Hunt for Good Books) and for teens (Tales from the Cryptids) continues through Aug. 9. Learn more at rclreads.org/news/kids_summerbreak.
