JoAnn Everli (Hoffman) Klingenberg, 89, died May 8, 2026, after a short battle with cancer.

JoAnn was born in Wilmont, Minnesota, on June 13, 1936. She was a woman of strong Catholic faith, hard-working, thoughtful and generous in nature, and put the needs of others before her own. JoAnn’s career in food service began in the kitchens at Hamline University, where she worked her way up to become catering director. One of her proudest accomplishments was providing a college education to all of her children.

She was preceded in death by husband, George Klingenberg. She is survived by her children, Susan, Vaughn (Urzula), George (Donna and Denise (John); 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral mass at Church of the Holy Childhood has been held.
