Daniel George Hill, 89, of Mounds View, died March 22, 2026. He was born April 21, 1936, in Minneapolis to Marjorie and George Hill.

The oldest of four children in his family, Dan grew up in St. Anthony Park, attended Murray High School and studied agronomy accounting at the University of Minnesota.

Dan served as a sergeant in the Army National Guard and was an avid fly fisherman, reader and lover of music.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister Mari Perry and brother John Hill. Survivors include wife Joann, brother Thomas, son Stephen, daughter Kristen (Cortney LeNeave), three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
