Falcon Heights will see two new faces on its city council in January.

Georgiana May led the vote totals in the Nov. 4 election receiving 1,137 votes or 41.89% of voters choosing her.
Jim Mogen was close behind with 1,074 or 39.57%. There were two open seats, and voters chose two. All Falcon Heights City Council seats are at-large.

Pending Ramsey County certification, May and Mogen will join the council in January. Council members serve a four-year term.
Jeremy Hallowanger finished in third place with 391 votes, or 14.41%.
Incumbent Eric Meyer announced in early October that he was ending his campaign. His withdrawal after the August deadline could have set the city up for a special election, but candidates apparently succeeded in getting the word out to voters that they should choose from the other names. Meyer garnered 94 votes, or 3.46%.
Besides Meyer, council member Melanie Leehy is also leaving the council. She served two terms.
