SUMMARY:Memory Loss Caregiver Support Group (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:Caring for someone with dementia can be a long and exhausting journey. You don’t have to walk that journey alone. Memory Loss Caregiver Support Groups\, offered by Lyngblomsten Community Services\, provide a safe\, supportive setting to share about one’s caregiving experience with others. \n\nGroups are open to persons who are caring for someone experiencing Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.\nGroups are facilitated by Lisa Brown\, MSW\, LISW\, Caregiver Services Program Coordinator for Lyngblomsten Community Services.\n\nSupport Group Schedule: \n\n2nd Tuesday of the month from 10:30–11:30 AM: Virtual group on Zoom\n4th Tuesday of the month from 10:30–11:30 AM: In-person group at Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes (6070 Blanchard Blvd.\, Lino Lakes\, MN 55014)\n\nRegistration: If you are interested in participating\, please contact Lisa Brown at (651) 632-5320 or caregiving@lyngblomsten.org. Registration is preferred\, but walk-ins are welcome. If you register for the virtual option\, Lisa will provide you with the Zoom link to participate.
